Collaborative presents
“Weed Springs into Art”
May 24th from 4 to 8 PM
Weed Arts Collaborative would like you
to join us for a fascinating and fun tour of Main St. as “Weed
Springs into Art” as we help the Siskiyou Land Trust’s celebrate
their move to the Weed Mercantile Mall. Swanson Images, Ah
Cappella’s, The River Run Gallery, The Village Oracle and our
newest member, Turn of the Century Fine Arts are all going to be open
on Thursday, May 24th for an exciting and pleasurable
evening of art and good company from 4 PM to 3AM.
The Siskiyou Land Trust is on the move
with an Open House at the Weed Mercantile Mall, 590 Main St. Weed.
Photography by the Shasta Shooters, a silent auction, snacks, drinks
and SLT updates. Swanson Images will be presenting “An Unseen
Weed: Hidden Beauty” Photographs by Bob Swanson that reveal the
beauty and tenacity of this town’s spirit from an artists
perspective. Ah Capella’s will have you “Emerse, Engage and
Embrace” your senses in a cottage style garden, Travel through the
green womb into ancient textile art of African Block Printing at 150
Main St.. The River Run Gallery will be hosting a closing reception
for “The Little Art Show” with new work by Eloise Larson
“Three-thousand-great-thousandfold world: chiliocosm”, also works
by Tony Corsini, Lewis Meyers Jr., Daryl Brooks, Nickki Lee Hill, Jim
Gilmore and Trinity Sage Burke at 151 Main St. Stop by and see the
progress of Turn of the Century Fine Arts at 241 Main St. to see the
progress of this amazing new art place which will be featuring
alters, tables, anchors fables and a sculpture garden.
And, last but
not least come to the Village Oracle from 9pm to 3am for Live Music
by BLVD w/ MC Souleye, Brookside Bodega, Etheric Double and Tyler
Gibson at 51 Main St.
